Welcome to my homepage

Hi !!, I'm Víctor Fresno, assistant professor at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC) in the Departamento de Ciencias de la Computación (Department of Computer Science).

I was born in Madrid in 1974. I received the bachelor of theoretical physics from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain) in 1999, the M.S. degree in telecommunication engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain) in 2004, and the PhD degree in Computer Science from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Spain) in 2006.

Previously, I enjoyed a fellowship in the Spanish Council for Scientific Research (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas) and after this, I was teaching assistant of Computer Science at URJC until 2006. My research interests include web page characterization for classification and clustering, Fuzzy Logic and Natural Language Processing Tools for Text Mining.

Nowadays I've been granted a leave in the NLP&IR Group at UNED.
