Junji Shikata received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in mathematics from Kyoto
University,Japan,and the Ph.D. degree in mathematics from Osaka University,

Japan, in 2000. From 2000 to 2002 he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of
 Industrial Science, the University of Tokyo, Japan.


Since 2002 he has been with the Graduate School of Environment and
Information Sciences, Yokohama National University, Japan.

Currently, he is Associate Professor of Yokohama National University.

His research interests include cryptography, information security,computational number
 theory and computer science.
