• Methodology and assessment

            In addition to lectures (theory and problems), students will also be expected to attend computing practicals with Maple. Students will be given exercises to do in their own time, which will then be handed in for marking. there will also be two short test, set during two of the lectures.

             The final mark of the course will consist of:

                  Marked exercises and Maple practicals: 10%

                  Two test:                                                20% (10% each)

                  Final exam:                                             70%
