"This department there is assigned to the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Informática (ETSII). Located in Móstoles's Campus of the Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC)".

- Inside the Departament of Computing one finds the research GAVAB group.
GAVAB is a research group that has the following of research lines:

Artificial vision: Image segmentation techniques; Fuzzy image processing; Objects tracking techniques.
Bioinformatics: Signature verification; 3D face recognition and modelling; Human motion analysis.
And other lines...

The research lines of interest are:
MEDICAL IMAGE SEGMENTATION TECHNIQUES
MEDICAL IMAGE THRESHOLDING TECHNIQUES
MEDICAL IMAGE FILTERING TECHNIQUES
VALIDATION METRICS OF MRI 3D
I am interested in the processing of multimodal image in future works.

PET/SPECT
Nowadays, techniques of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are increasingly used to delimit and to go into the etiologic analysis of Central Nervous System diseases. The most advanced techniques in the field of the neuroimaging, may be classified as functional MRI, diffusion MRI or structural MRI.
Despite advances in novel analytical imaging techniques MRI, MRI Morphometry, functional MRI, Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI), CT, Positron Emission Tomography (PET), help physicians in diagnosis in a qualitative sense. More at: Introduction to Molecular Imaging
