Welcome to the BIOCOM research project
Welcome to the BIOCOM (Biotic community attributes and ecosystem functioning: implications for predicting and mitigating global change impacts) project web page. BIOCOM is a research project funded by the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Community's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7/2007-2013)/ERC Grant agreement n° 242658. This project was awarded to Dr. Fernando T. Maestre in the 2008 Starting Grant call, and it is being carried out at the Department of Biology and Geology of the Rey Juan Carlos University (Móstoles, Spain) between January 2010 and December 2014.
In this webpage you will find all the information relative to the project (objectives, organization, research team and sites), as well as the different results (publications, Ph.D. theses) derived from the research being funded by BIOCOM.
Please explore our website to discover how this multi-approach, multi-site project will identify key linkages between global environmental change, biotic attributes and ecosystem functioning.
